I recently had a phone screen with an Amazon recruiter for an SDET role. That initial conversation with only the recuiter was so awful, about 10 minutes in I interrupted and said the role wasn't for me. Just nothing in the way of personable interaction, and bunch of technical BS which I can do, but reflected a total lack of understanding at a meta level. Then they misspelled "principles" in the follow-up email. Just pathetic.
